Do, or do not…
there is no try”!

“Fail you will,

if practice you do not!”

Showing my Dad how I learned to use an abacus.

My Background

My father would lecture me about nature, logic, electronics…many things, and I soaked it up like a sponge. Whenever company came to visit, I often ran to fetch an item from my room which I could show-and-tell with much enthusiasm and good information. Those early experiences led me to spend most of my career in teaching, sharing insights into why I love working with numbers and uncovering their hidden truths.

I know that many people grew to hate math, and working with numbers is a source of fear and anxiety for them. I had a taste of that overwhelmed feeling during grad school. “Biting off more than you can chew” can only lead to two things — indigestion, or vomiting, depending on whether we swallow what is forced on us. I teach my clients how to take “small bites”.

The students said they appreciate your enthusiasm for the topic and that you’re able to break-it-down to a level that’s easy for them to digest.”
